I have a gut feeling this new trainer is either:

A. Newly hired or was just imported from another Call Center

B. Was newly promoted from being an agent because she wanted a less-stressful job after taking her 10000th irate customer.

C. Was a fresh lateral transfer from the Quality Assurance Team seeking a less stressful job after being verbally abused for the 10000th time by the Team Leaders who didn't like her audits on their agents.

QAC - hehe. yeah bad habits performed by trainer are usually due to lack of confidence.
