Oli: Im a psychic. I can tell if an agent is about to resign.
Sarah: Me too!
Oli: Jeff is sure to go.. he is always on sick leave!
Sarah: I'm sure even on his day offs he is applying in other companies!

Hopefully such absence spells would only occur once and Jeff finally finds work in anywhere else but a call center

The negative attitude of being a call center misfit may be rooted in the following:

1. Working environment (nature of tasks, office politics and culture, workload)

2. Underemployment (mostly applicable to some start-ups and Pinoy-Owned BPOs without foreign capital)

3. Social/Family life (alienation from family and non-office friends and or even co-workers due to work and work sched)

4. Disparity of educational background with actual job (You are a board exam away from being a Lawyer/Engineer/Nurse/Teacher/Seaman but you're answering Telco complaints for example)

Jeff here needs an incentive at work (a housing/auto loan offers, job advancement opportunities or even a decent gadget to save up for) and a caring support net to keep him from harboring such an attitude.
