Cooking them alive!?!
That is way too brutal even for me.
One other way to get those hopeless demotivation sickness cases to work would be 2 ways I got from our office:
1. Termination due to AWOL (No last pay and incentives for those jerks)
2. Forced Leave (if they don't want to work, then get some fresh-out-of-training agents to fill their seats until their cash runs out or turn in their resignation letters)
Come to think of it, my suggestions are way more brutal than cooking them alive.
Of course, another option would be to kidnap them (tie them up or drug them) and shanghai them to the office and give strict instructions to the guards not to let them out after their shift which is more humane.
