I'm not contented with how I colored it... but maybe next time I'll just use a wacom to deliver good results.
It got me thinking... there are still a lot more things to improve for my former company. How I wish I could help them. I really do. Oh well, it's not my concern or his concern anymore.
I've been very busy lately. And whenever I'm busy, drawing comics would be the first one to be sacrificed in my agenda... but never shopping! Anyway, I've been working my ass for the transitioning agents to collections and at the same time for the new process that I'm handling. I don't know how I do it... but I did it. Still, a lot of things needed to be done. Hush... I'm now off to go shopping once again.
Thanks!
Some other books I bought: PTGS 20 and 21, Hainaku 1 and 2, three books on John Maxwell, Secrets, three graphic novels on Fables, Neil Gaiman's graphic novel (i think the title has the word 'magic'), and lots and lots of children's book (sale in Goodwill). I wasn't even there for about an hour since my bag was already too heavy with books... tsk tsk decided to leave... too bad, I wasn't able to browse so much books and booths.

Digital Coloring for the First Time
I've been busy this past week making comics for a new project. Partly guilty for not going out last Saturday night with my boss. Anyway, I decided to be more productive than just drinking at a bar and having fun with my boss and some co-workers. So there... challenge that I've faced was digital coloring. I knew coloring would be a waste of time but then, if the comic requires you to submit in color, then you have no choice but to color your work. Here's a one page sample of the comics entitled, "Shabbie" that I am making. Shabbie used to be our dog for 13 years. She's a play poodle. Nope, this cartoon doesn't look like her though.
I'm not contented with how I colored it... but maybe next time I'll just use a wacom to deliver good results.

Totoong kumpanya vs. chipangga na kumpanya
A close friend from my former company started to join my organization last night. All he said was, "shucks hazel... ngayon ko lang na realize na napaka walang kwenta pala ng ACS... walang wala dito sa kumpanya!" Now, they are scheduled to interview my former boss, who is also a close friend, in my organization. Coolness!
It got me thinking... there are still a lot more things to improve for my former company. How I wish I could help them. I really do. Oh well, it's not my concern or his concern anymore.

Mysterious Play - Manga, Work
I always told myself that I would someday finish Fushigi Yugi. I never had the chance to watch it in GMA and AXN and I feel that it's a "must watch" anime just like Ghost Fighter and Naruto. When I finally got my DSL, I told myself, "now I can watch Fushigi Yugi on YouTube!" Couple of Monday mornings were dedicated to watching YouTube but then boredom grew.. not because of the story but because I'm not really fond of watching on the computer or I feel like time is being wasted or maybe I just uh... matured. Yesterday I was browsing Powerbooks when tadadan... I saw some manga of Fushigi Yugi!!! Exciteness!!! Bought them without thinking if I really should buy them. But at least now, I can attain my long lost goal of finishing Fushigi Yugi!!!

26th Manila International Book Fair
Full parking and crowded... I never thought a lot of people would be interested in books! I went there to see my friend Stanley Chi and to buy his comic book entitled "Chopstix" and "Topak". I was supposed to be included in Topak Comics but due to the deadline, (he was asking for some 2-3 pager for the first three issues last May 2007), I never was able to submit an artwork. Upon browsing through it, it was so similar with Mwahaha.
AMM in Villa Escudero
bamboo rafting
These war pictures were taken at the end of the day...
lunch under the waterfalls
We rode the carabao going to our first venue - conference room (boring). Then some teambuilding games followed by videoke, swimming and cultural show. But the best part was the museum!!! It was awsome with the shrunken heads, rare animals, and most of all, our history. I never realized that the Escudero family was so prominent having all the priceless collections.
