Office Party

Resignation

Hello My Baby!!!

Can't wait to spend the Holidays with my baby! What can I say? It has been a good month so far... American clients got drunk last weekend and gave us money bwahaha... then the 14th month pay that the company will be giving (aside from the performance bonuses, xmas ham, and the early 13th month pay). Another party this weekend and if the CEO and his associates get drunk, money will be given away again for no apparent reason.

I got tired of reading Archies so last weekend I bought some Asterix and TinTin comics just to see if I will still like them. I used to read these comics way back in the grade school library. If I liked them still, I'll be collecting those titles. Right now, I need to buy New Avengers Civil War or Spiderman Civil War for my "monito" this Christmas.

Call Center Pricing

Some things you can think about: Pricing yourself. Are you one of the aspiring leaders who wants to know how much you cost in the market? Here it is:
You're a rep and you are thinking of applying as a supervisor. The minimum you can go for is 25k per month (approx. 12-15 agents).
You're already a supervisor and you feel like applying in another call center. You will be ranged around 35k to 50k a month.
You're thinking of applying as a manager, but you have limited experience. You can ask for 50k to 80k per month.
If you are applying as a manager and will be handling 8-10 teamleaders, you can ask for 80-100k a month.
You just can't get enough eh? Okey go for director/AVP for Operations. You can ask for around 250k a month (or more)plus gas allowance of 20k a month. Also consider how many accounts you will be handling.

So, how much are you? :)

As I was about to leave, I said "".(some contents were deleted by the author due to popular viewing)

Here's a song for you:

If you're leaving please take me along with you
(meaning: just take me with you)
I want to get rid of my troubles too
(meaning: i need something to make me forget my problems)
We can share the joys of life
(meaning: joys of life is smoking and drinking)
So won't you take me along
(meaning: ask me to come with you)
Flying high up in the sky
(meaning: getting naughty)
It would be beautiful, I know
(meaning: i'm positive you will enjoy me)
Just you and I
(meaning: nobody should be around)

Do you think that we can "be" right away?
(meaning: we can be lovers right away)
I don't think that we should stay another day
(meaning: we don't need to wait to get to know each other more)
Time will wait for the one
(meaning: let time stop for us)
We better run for this life or it's gone before I rise
(meaning: take me now or i'll be gone soon)
All I want to say to you
I need a company with me
(meaning: i'm alone tonight)
Let's take the flight
(meaning: i want a one night stand with you)

I wanted to sing this for you and play it on a piano :)

We have been placing bets with the American clients in our account and every time, every week... we win. Yup yup another free starbucks and krispy kreme for me.

Last week, I tried to do an indie style comic compilation of my strips and I was able to sold 50 comics! And that was just within the floor! hehehe. Not much money because it only cost P25 each with 16 pages. But yes, it was fulfilling... doing caricatures and signing their xeroxed copies.

What's new? Not much. Just waiting for some major things to happen next year, wondering where my career here in the call center should be going, if I should shift into operating sales/ outbound (yuck!)or handle the training and quality team, if I should study nursing and be filthy rich in the U.S. or Italy, if I should continue my MBA degree in La Salle, or just simply go to U.S. and start all over again. A lot of things has been going on in my mind. Bottom line is I have a kid to take care of and it doesn't give me much freedom. My time usually consumes of - taking care of the baby, working in the office, reading the bible, drawing callwork strips, reading Archie comics, hanging out with friends and watching TV and DVDs. I cannot pretend but of course I also miss my ex husband, playing warlords with him but things really got bad whenever we talk. Of course I still love him. Maybe the truth is I'm really longing for someone sensitive and someone that can be my hero.

Ooh! I got a mail from my old team leader back in Sykes. She's doing pretty well in the U.S. got a new American boyfriend and eventually was able to bring her daughter to the U.S. with her. She's now working in a customer service organization as well. Made me wonder about all my other friends who left to the U.S. Gosh, I miss them.

Another party this weekend and another unlimited shots of tequilla!!!

Having to be working with the sunshine industry is such a blessing. What bothers me is the dying industry in the Philippines - which is the Lokal Komiks. Help revive the lokal komiks industry. Below are the recommendations I've made which you will love. The prices will only cost you 1 hour of phonetime. For managers, it will only cost you 1 minute of staring at your monitors.

1. Ang Kagilasgilas na Pakikipagsapalaran ni ZsaZsa Zaturnnah by Carlo Vergara. Super nakakatawa! As in! LOL talaga ako dito habang binabasa ko! Mabuhay ang mga kabadingan sa mundo! Hahaha

2. Cast by Nautilus. Even though the plot is about highschool students, you will surely be able to relate with it. I don't know why, but I was able to feel every emotion of the characters in it. Maybe it's the storytelling that is well told. And btw, this is headed by the talented Elbert Or.

3. Kikomachine by Manix Abrera. A comic strip about everything. Korni sa una pero matatawa ka dahil marerealize mo super nakakatawa ang mga jokes na korni!!! At marerealize mo na isa ka rin dito sa mga characters niya. na-gets mo ba? rak en rol!

4. Beerkada by Lyndon Gregorio. No need for introduction. I know you guys have been reading this since college.

5. Fresh komiks atbp. For the anime lovers out there, I recommend you this book. Far much better than Neo comics. oops.

6. Kubori Kikiam by M David. Sa mga bastos diyan, magugustuhan niyo ito!

7. Elmer by Gerry Alanguilan. A comic book that is well-illustrated. You'll probably wonder what this is about. Yes, it's all about chickens. Chicken Mcdo, Chicken Burger, KFC and Max fried chicken. But for curiosities sake, just buy the book and read it.

8. Siglo:Passion by Nautilus. About Passion of Filipinos just like you and me. Yup your money is worth this book. A complied short stories from different comic book writers and artists. Man, I love it!

9. Carpool by Syeri Baet. Clean fun. Pwede sa mga kids! Enjoy to' basahin because of the simplicity that made it perfect!

10. Mythology Class by Arnold Arre. Medyo mahaba siya ha kaya carry lang. Enjoy to get to know different elemental spirit!
